anyone for any reason. We ask for it
so that we can email your password if you forget it,
and we also use it to verify your existence as a
real person. We need to keep spammers and
other people out of the site who wish to use it
for illicit or illegal purposes. Furthermore, if you participate in the Musician Search feature, we email messages to you from people who want to contact you, since they don't have your name or email themselves. If our systems administrator cannot verify an email address, the person who signed up with it will be removed from the site. |
